2013 SUMMER YOUTH BASEBALL CAMPS

Welcome to Eater Nation Baseball! Spend Summer Break at the beautiful Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark and learn from Division I athletes and coaches the necessary skills to take your game to the next level. Designed for boys and girls ages 6-12, sessions will emphasize individual skills, fundamentals, and team strategy. Areas covered include everything from outfield and infield play, base running, sliding and much more in this dynamic youth day camp.

EXTENDED CARE
Complimentary Extended Care is available during the hours of 7:30-9:00 AM and 3:00-5:00 PM for camps that begin at 8:30-9:00 AM and end at 3:00-4:30 PM. Extended Care is not available for camps that end at noon. Extended Care is located on the soccer field adjacent to the tennis courts and includes field activites and board games. No instruction provided. The late pick up fee is $20 per any part of each 15 minutes late for pick up after 5:30 PM. Privileges will be revoked after the first warning.


JR. HIGH

JR. HIGH INSTRUCTIONAL CAMP

Our Jr. High School Instructional camp is an intensive three-day session designed to strengthen core fundamentals and and prepare players for high school competition. Located at beauitful Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark, this camp is intended for players ages 11-14 and consists of a rigorous schedule of drills and personal hands-on instruction from the Anteater coaching staff and athletes.

 2013 HIGH SCHOOL SHOWCASE

The UC Irvine High School Showcase Camps are one of the most prestigious baseball camps in Southern California for baseball players, grades 9-12 who aspire to play at the collegiate level. The combination of our premier facility, Anteater Ballpark, as well as Division I curriculum and philosophies creates an excellent training atmosphere designed to maximize each players’ potential. Players will receive individual instruction on the first day of camp. Through tournaments played on the second day of camp, players will have the ability to highlight individual talents in a competitive and challenging environment. Space is limited so you don't want to miss this rare opportunity to become part of the Anteater Family!

UC IRVINE ATHLETICS CAMPS & CLINICS ARE OPEN TO ANY AND ALL PARTICIPANTS, BUT SPACE IS LIMITED AND ARE FILLED ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS.


   

Refund Policy

Written request for a transfer, credit or cancellation must be submitted to the Camps Office via email. There is a $35 per camp session cancellation fee for all cancellations made at least two weeks prior to the first day of camp. If cancellation, for any reason including medical, is made within two weeks of the first day of camp, there is a $75 cancellation fee. No cancellation refunds will be processed after the start of camp. No refunds will be issued upon expulsion or voluntary withdrawal from camp. All written requests may be sent to camps@uci.edu.

Health Care & Insurance

Each camper must provide their own insurance. Parents or guardians will be billed for any medical care given at the UCI Medical Center or at hospital facilities. Athletic trainers are on duty to administer First Aid for minor injuries or sickness. Camp medical staff is no responsible for administering prescribed medication.
