  UC IRVINE MEN'S ELITE BASKETBALL CAMP

 

UC Irvine Men's Basketball is excited to announce the first ever Men's Elite Camp! This fast paced one day camp is designed for boy's between 9th and 12th grade who would like to take their game to the next level by spending a day with UC Irvine head coach, Russell Turner, and his staff. The camp will feature high-level skill development, competitive small group workouts, games and an opportunity to see what Anteater Basketball is all about. Also included will be a campus tour, NCAA rules explanation, and strength and conditioning workshop. All Campers will receive a camp t-Shirt and catered lunch. Men's Elite Basketball Camp is open to any and all players but spaces are limited.

Not registered for the Team Camp? Pay only $15 more to participate in Team Camp (Friday only) following the Elite Camp!

Elite campers who opt to play 5 on 5 games in Team Camp will be placed on a "Showcase Team" with other elite campers. Each of these "Showcase Teams" will play 2 games, one at 3pm and another at 4pm.

UC IRVINE YOUTH BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP

The Men's Basketball program is back this summer to offer an unforgettable basketball experience. Located at the home of Anteater Basketball, the Bren Events Center, campers will be exposed to interactive instruction in all aspects of the game in a dynamic and fun learning environment. This exciting fast-paced camp also features drills, demonstrations, daily competitions, team strategies, and tournament games. Camp sessions also include swimming at selected intervals throughout the week and special guest speakers!

Extended Care: Summer Camps Only
Complimentary Extended Care is available during the hours of 7:30 - 9:00 am and 3:00 - 5:30 pm. Extended Care is not available for camps that end at noon on Friday. Extended Care is located on the soccer field adjacent to the tennis courts and includes field activities and board games.



Two or More/UCI Discount

The UCI Discount is $10 off per session. To qualify for the Two or More Discount, you must register for two or more sessions at the same time and pay the registration deposit. Applicants that are either dependents of current UCI faculty/staff or members of the UCI Alumni Association are eligible to receive the UCI Discount as well. A copy of the employee ID or UC Irvine Alumni Association card must be faxed to the camps office at (949) 824-9353. This discount is applicable only if the parent/guardian paying for the camp is a UC Irvine faculty/staff member or a member of the UC Irvine Alumni Association. If applying for the discount simply pay the deposit fee and fax over proof of faculty/staff ID or UCI Alumni Association membership. No discounts will be applied if the camps have been paid in full. UCI Discount is for Summer Camps ONLY. Only one discount can be applied per session, except when combined with a promoword discount

Refund Policy

Written request for a transfer, credit or cancellation must be submitted to the Camps Office via email. There is a $35 per camp session cancellation fee for all cancellations made at least two weeks prior to the first day of camp. If cancellation, for any reason including medical, is made within two weeks of the first day of camp, there is a $75 cancellation fee. No cancellation refunds will be processed after the start of camp. No refunds will be issued upon expulsion or voluntary withdrawal from camp. All written requests may be sent to camps@uci.edu.

Health Care & Insurance

Each camper must provide their own insurance. Parents or guardians will be billed for any medical care given at the UCI Medical Center or at hospital facilities. Athletic trainers are on duty to administer First Aid for minor injuries or sickness. Camp medical staff is no responsible for administering prescribed medication.
