2015 BOYS YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMP

The Men's Basketball program is back this summer to offer an unforgettable basketball experience. Located at the home of anteater basketball, Bren Events Center, boys ages 5-8th grade will be exposed to interactive instruction in all aspects of the game, including character and leadership development in a dynamic and fun learning enviornment. This exciting, fast-paced camp also features drills, demonstrations, daily competitions, team strategies and tournament games. Camp sessions also include swimming at selected intervals throughout the week and special guest speakers.

ADVANCED SHOOTING CAMP

The advanced shooting camp will feature four hours of detailed instruction on shooting within a basketball game, including knowing when to shoot. We bring out the leader in you. The camp will start with the form shooting to teach proper shooting technique. It will then switch to both individual  and drills skills work. Campers will receive pointers and critique on their shooting forms and release. This camp serves to teach campers how to work on their shooting wether they are practicing by themselves or with friends. Camp will finish with shooting competitions.

MEN'S BASKETBALL ELITE CAMP

UC Irvine men's basketball is excited to announce the men's elite camp! This fast paced one day camp is designed for boys between 9th - 12th grade who would like to take their game to the next level by spending a day with UC Irvine head coach, Russell Turner, and his staff. The camp will feature high-level skills development, competitive small group workouts, games and an opportunity to see what anteater basketball is all about. We don't just build your basketball skills, we believe successful players also need to have strong character and leadership skills.

  • 2 or More Discount ( Register 2-3 campers):  To qualify for the “2 or More discount”, you must register for two or more campers IN THE SAME SPORT AT THE SAME TIME under the SAME account. IF AN ACCOUNT HAS PAID IN FULL FOR THEIR SESSIONS, NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED.

  • Group Discount (Register 4+ campers, redeem only by phone): Call or email our camps office for specific instructions & information on group registration. Group registrations must be registering 4 or more campers in the SAME SPORT at the SAME TIME under the SAME ACCOUNT NAME. Please note that not all camps offer group rates.
  • UCI FACULTY/STAFF including UCI MEDICAL STAFF can receive 10% off per camp session. Starting 2015, all UCI Faculty/Staff can redeem discount online by clicking REGISTER NOW on any page. All faculty/staff registrations will be appropriately verifed by our Camps Staff prior to the camp start day. Customers will no longer have to contact camps office prior to making a payment to redeem the discount.
  • UCI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT: CALL/EMAIL CAMP OFFICE BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT TO REDEEM. Under this discount, campers can receive 10% off per camp session for camps and clinics. A photocopy of the alumni membership card (badge, ID Card) must be emailed (camps@uci.edu) or faxed (949-824-9353) to the camps office prior to purchasing the camp. The Camps Staff will send a promotional code to register for the desired camp/s. To qualify for this discount, the ACCOUNT HOLDER must be a part of the UCI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION.

Refund Policy
Written request for a transfer, credit or cancellation must be submitted to the Camps Office via email to camps@uci.edu PRIOR to the start date of the camp. There is a 10% cancellation fee that may apply to any/all requests. No refunds will be processed after the start of the camp. Any requests to transfer must be done within the SAME SPORT & SAME CAMP SEASON (June-August). A transfer may apply to the request. 

Health Care & Insurance
Each camper must provide their own insurance. Parents or guardians will be billed for any medical care given at the UCI Medical Center or at hospital facilities. Athletic trainers are on duty to administer First Aid for minor injuries or sickness. Camp medical staff is no responsible for administering prescribed medication.
