How are group assignments made?
Camper groups are assigned based on age and ability level.

Where do I park when I drop off/pick up my child? Do I have to pay for parking?
Parking information will be given in your camp confirmation e-mail. Parents receive complimentary 15 minute parking at Mesa Parking Structure located on Mesa Road for summer sessions only.

When is the full camp payment due?
Full payment is due one week before the camp begins. If you registered online, you can log into your account and pay the remaining balance. Mail or phone payments are also accepted. Check payable to "UC Regents". Send payment to UC Irvine Athletics, 903 Crawford Hall, CYP Office, Irvine, CA 92697-4500. Be sure to include the camper's name on the check.

What are general camp rules?

1. Respect other participants, instructors, facilities and equipment.
2. Always listen to staff/instructor. Show consideration when teacher and others are speaking.
3. Teasing and put-downs are not tolerated.
4. No cursing.
5. Stay with your assigned group.
6. Keep the camp area clean. Throw your trash away.
7. No weapons allowed.

What is Extended Care?
Complimentary Extended Care is available during the hours of 7:30-9:00am and 3:00-5:30pm for camps that begin at 8:30/9:0am and end at 3:00/4:30pm. EXTENDED CARE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR CAMPS THAT END AT NOON. Extended care is located on the soccer field adjacent to the tennis courts and includes field actvities and board games. The late pick-up fee is $20 per any part of each 15 minutes late for pick up after 5:30pm. Privileges will be revoked after the first warning.

What is the Refund Policy?
Written request for a transfer, credit or cancellation must be submitted to the Camps office via email. There is a $35 per camp session cancellation fee for all cancellations made at least two weeks prior to the first day of camp. If cancellation, for any reason including medical, is made within two weeks of the first dayof camp, there is a $75 cancellation fee. No cancellation refunds will be processed after the start of camp. Send all written requests to camps@uci.edu

What discounts are available for all camps?
To qualify for the Two or More Discount, you must register for two or more sessions at the same time and pay the registration deposit. Applicants that are either dependents of current UCI faculty/staff or members of the UCI Alumni Association are eligible to receive the UCI Discount as well. A copy of the employee ID or UC Irvine Alumni Association card must be faxed to the camps office at (949) 824-9353. This discount is applicable only if the parent/guardian paying for the camp is a UC Irvine faculty/staff member or a member of the UC Irvine Alumni Association. If applying for the discount simply pay the deposit fee and fax over proof of faculty/staff ID or UCI Alumni Association membership. No discounts will be applied if the camps have been paid in full. UCI Discount is for Summer Camps ONLY. Only one discount can be applied per session

Can I recieve multiple discounts?
Although a sport may offer multiple types of discounts. Only one discount can be applied to each session. If you qualify for more than one discount we will honor the largest discount.

What happens when camper needs to leave camp early?
Camper must present a written note to include camper's name, time and date the camper needs to leave, permission to leave by himself/herself, if applicable and signature of parent/guardian.
