With the help of our Men’s Soccer Coaches and players, campers will be led through competitive training sessions similar to that of the collegiate program. This camp emphasizes specific training for elite players who want to compete and be evaluated and instructed at the highest collegiate level possible. There will be an college recruiting informational period and tour from 11:30am-12:00pm.

Designed to give the best possible experience and education for field player and goalkeepers aspiring to  play at the college level. These one day camps expose players to the life of a Division 1 collegiate athlete and help them identify specific areas they need to improve on to catch the attention of college coaches in the recruiting process. The morning sessions focus on functional training in specific match-related components of the game. Goalkeepers train in a goalkeeper specific environment.  In the afternoon session we will play 8v8 and 11v11 games.

2015 YOUTH SOCCER CAMP

For nine weeks this summer, UC Irvine Soccer Coaches, will be directing Youth Soccer Camp for boys and girls ages 5-12. Participants will be grouped depending on age, and experience level. Each session is focused on developing the technical soccer skills for dribbling, passing, receiving, and scoring goals. Each skill is learned within a wide variety of age-appropriate and fun games and competitions. We promote a dynamic learning enviornment that fosters a healthy competitive atmosphere focusing on sportsmanship, character and leadership development. Both full and half-day session are available.

WOMEN'S SOCCER MENTAL TOUGHNESS WORKSHOP

College players often learn the principles of mental toughness while figuring out how to bounce back from the inevitable adversity they will face at some point during their college careers.  This can take a few days, weeks, months and sometimes a season or more to fully bounce back to perform at their best.  This seminar has been created to help high school aged players begin to develop their understanding of the principles of mental toughness before they step foot on their college campus. PARENTS AND COACHES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE TO REGISTER FOR THIS WORKSHOP. The success of any mental toughness programming is amplified by the support of parents and coaches.

MEN'S SOCCER ACADEMY 

This summer UC Irvine Men's Soccer offers one of the most prestigious soccer camps in the country for advanced players at the high school level, ages 14-19 who aspire to play at the college level. Each attendee will have the opportunity to be exposed to top college coaches in an outstanding training environment in sunny southern California. The camp curriculum is designed to maximize each player's soccer potential. The training schedule includes two training sessions (one technical and one tactical) per day followed by evening tournaments. Also, players will be informed of the academic requirements they need to maintain through discussion and lectures and learn vital philosophies that will ensure success at all levels of play. Both commuter (driving) and residential (staying in dorm) options are available.

  • Group Discount (Register 4+ campers, redeem only by phone): Call or email our camps office for specific instructions & information on group registration. Group registrations must be registering 4 or more campers in the SAME SPORT at the SAME TIME under the SAME ACCOUNT NAME. Please note that not all camps offer group rates.
  • UCI FACULTY/STAFF including UCI MEDICAL STAFF can receive 10% off per camp session. Starting 2015, all UCI Faculty/Staff can redeem discount online by clicking REGISTER NOW on any page. All faculty/staff registrations will be appropriately verifed by our Camps Staff prior to the camp start day. Customers will no longer have to contact camps office prior to making a payment to redeem the discount.
  • UCI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT: CALL/EMAIL CAMP OFFICE BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT TO REDEEM. Under this discount, campers can receive 10% off per camp session for camps and clinics. A photocopy of the alumni membership card (badge, ID Card) must be emailed (camps@uci.edu) or faxed (949-824-9353) to the camps office prior to purchasing the camp. The Camps Staff will send a promotional code to register for the desired camp/s. To qualify for this discount, the ACCOUNT HOLDER must be a part of the UCI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION.

Refund Policy
Written request for a transfer, credit or cancellation must be submitted to the Camps Office via email to camps@uci.edu PRIOR to the start date of the camp. There is a 10% cancellation fee that may apply to any/all requests. No refunds will be processed after the start of the camp. Any requests to transfer must be done within the SAME SPORT & SAME CAMP SEASON (June-August). A transfer may apply to the request. 

Health Care & Insurance
Each camper must provide their own insurance. Parents or guardians will be billed for any medical care given at the UCI Medical Center or at hospital facilities. Athletic trainers are on duty to administer First Aid for minor injuries or sickness. Camp medical staff is no responsible for administering prescribed medication.
