We highly encourage online registration prior to camp start date. All ONLINE camp registration will close 1 business day before camp begins at 9am.  For all discount information, please read below. 

2014 TENNIS CAMPS

Nationally ranked coaches from both the men’s and women’s tennis teams, Trevor Kronemann and Mike Edles invite campers ages 8-17 to six sessions of the highly anticipated UC Irvine Tennis Camp this summer. Whether a novice or an experienced tournament player, participants will learn technical skills, footwork, conditioning and match play strategies in both drill and game situations while building strong character and leadership skills. Players will be grouped depending on age level, experience, and will receive personal instruction and written evaluation at the end of the week. Camp sessions also include swimming at selected intervals throughout the week and offer both full day and half-day sessions.

UC IRVINE ATHLETICS CAMPS & CLINICS ARE OPEN TO ANY AND ALL PARTICIPANTS, BUT SPACE IS LIMITED AND ARE FILLED ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS.


DISCOUNTS/PROMOTIONS

  • 2 or More Discount: ( Register 2-3 campers)  To qualify for the “2 or More discount”, you must register for two or more campers IN THE SAME SPORT AT THE SAME TIME under theSAME account. IF AN ACCOUNT HAS PAID IN FULL FOR THEIR SESSIONS, NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED.
  • Group Discount: (Register 4+ campers, redeem only by phone or mail in registration)
    Youth Only Camps: Register four or more campers under the same account
  • UCI MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS: CALL CAMPS OFFICE BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT TO REDEEM
  • Campers can receive 10% OFF discount per session, if the person paying for the camp is a current member of the following:
    -   UCI Alumni Association
    -   UCI Faculty/Staff
    -   UCI Med Center Staff
    (No discounts will be applied if camps have been paid in full. No combination of any special discounts can be applied)
  • Current membership information must be on file with the Camp Office. To receive the Faculty/Staff/Alumni discount please call the UCI Camp Office to redeem your discounted rate. If your membership number is invalid, you will NOT receive the discount, and your camper's account will maintain a balance per session for the 10% discount. A photocopy of your membership card or UCI faculty/staff ID must be submitted in order for the discount to be verified. Refund Policy

Written request for a transfer (additional fee may apply), credit or cancellation must be submitted to the Camps Office via email. A 10% cancellation fee may apply. No cancellation refunds will be processed after the start of camp. No refunds will be issued upon medical issues, expulsion or voluntary withdrawal from camp. All written requests may be sent to camps@uci.edu.

Health Care & Insurance

Each camper must provide their own insurance. Parents or guardians will be billed for any medical care given at the UCI Medical Center or at hospital facilities. Athletic trainers are on duty to administer First Aid for minor injuries or sickness. Camp medical staff is no responsible for administering prescribed medication.
