Big 3 of the West High School Baseball Showcase
Join three powerhouse programs: UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton & Long Beach State this summer in our annual Big 3 Showcase! This is an excellent opportunity for players to meet, learn and receive instruction from not only three of the Best Baseball programs in the state of California but three of the best programs in the entire Country.
The Big 3 of the West Showcase will provide valuable instruction for development as a player and an opportunity to display individual talents in front of all three coaching staffs. The three day showcase will consist of offensive and defensive instruction, daily games and instruction conducted by the Cal State Fullerton, Long Beach State and UC Irvine coaching staffs. Players will get the opportunity to play at each of these incredible facilities, three of the best facilities in California and in the U.S. Each day players will participate at a new location.
Participants will be divided into teams as coaches watch their performance in multiple game settings. The Big 3 Showcase is open to any and all players but spaces are limited; therefore, registration must be received as soon as possible to secure a space.

- Each participant guaranteed to play in 3 games - one at each site
-Position Players guaranteed at least 3 at bats per game
-At least one member of each Coaching Staff will be in attendance at every site/game
-All three hosts are past College World Series Participants
-Players will participate in skill instruction and individual skill work-outs each day
-All participants will receive a camp T-Shirt from all 3 schools
-Participants will be taught the same way these 3 National powerhouse programs teach their own teams
* If a player's primary position is Pitcher but would like the opportunity to showcase skills in another position or hit, they must register as a Position Player

UCI Discount
To qualify for the UCI Discount, you must register two or more campers for the same session at the same time and pay the registration deposit. Applicants that are either dependents of current UCI faculty/staff or members of the UCI Alumni Association are eligible to receive the UCI Discount as well. A copy of the employee ID or UC Irvine Alumni Association card must be faxed to the camps office at (949) 824-9353. This discount is applicable only if the parent/guardian paying for the camp is a UC Irvine faculty/staff member or a member of the UC Irvine Alumni Association. If applying for the discount simply pay the deposit fee and fax over proof of faculty/staff ID or UCI Alumni Association membership. No discounts will be applied if the camps have been paid in full. |
Refund Policy
Written request for a transfer, credit or cancellation must be submitted to the Camps Office via email. There is a $35 per camp session cancellation fee for all cancellations made at least two weeks prior to the first day of camp. If cancellation, for any reason including medical, is made within two weeks of the first day of camp, there is a $75 cancellation fee. No cancellation refunds will be processed after the start of camp. No refunds will be issued upon expulsion or voluntary withdrawal from camp. All written requests may be sent to camps@uci.edu. |
Health Care & Insurance
Each camper must provide their own insurance. Parents or guardians will be billed for any medical care given at the UCI Medical Center or at hospital facilities. Athletic trainers are on duty to administer First Aid for minor injuries or sickness. Camp medical staff is no responsible for administering prescribed medication. |
