Summer Soccer Academy
This summer UC Irvine Soccer Academy offers what has become the one of the most prestigious soccer camps in the country.
Each attendee will have the opportunity to be exposed to college coaches in a great training environment. It is our goal
for players to receive intense training with good competition under the watchful eye of many college coaches.
The curriculum has been carefully designed to maximize each player's soccer potential. Players leave camp refreshed
and full of new soccer ideas. By attending the UC Irvine Soccer Academy players will be trained personally by
college coaches and learn what it takes to participate in an outstanding college program. The UC Irvine Staff includes seven time
college coach of the year George Kuntz and former professional goalkeeper Chris Volk who will guide the players through
their paces.
In addition,we expose players to what is required of them academically through a daily lecture series with topics such as: 'Playing at the next level,' 'The four pillars of soccer', 'Questions and answer on playing', 'College Seminar - How to prepare for college soccer'. The UC Irvine Soccer Academy is also a measuring stick for every player to see where he stands with Elite players in their age group. Coaches at the camp personalize the training so each athlete receives help in areas that they want to improve upon. Players will be challenged daily so that they get the most out of camp. The coaches are carefully selected so that the players have an enjoyable learning environment, which emphasizes teaching through playing. The training schedule includes two intense training sessions (one technical and one tactical) per day with a tournament format each night. Teams that attend the camp receive the added benefit of preparing through a preseason training experience. The team's training will be prepared using the coach's wish list of team needs. Every player receives an evaluation at the end of camp which allows them to use it with their 'College Package' when notifying colleges of their interest. The UC Irvine Soccer Academy is a proven soccer institution in the United States. It has been the top training ground for southern California's best players and coaches. Many former players have gone on to outstanding college and professional playing careers; other graduates are coaching at club, high school, and college levels. Our coaches have entered every level of the soccer community, college coaching, high school coaching, Olympic Development staff, teaching, U.S.S.F. national staff, and professional coaching. Former UC Irvine players have been United States men's national team players, All-Conference Players, Major League Soccer, "A" League players, and International players! The emphasis of the camp is learning while being immersed in a total soccer environment. Join us this summer for what will be a memorable soccer development experience!

2008 Camp Prices and Schedule
Boys Soccer Specialty Camp
In addition to our Soccer Academies, we are pleased to announce our Specialty Soccer Camp for boys ages 12-14. The camp will run from July 14-18 from 1pm-3pm. These intense instructional sessions will be led by our collegiate coaches and will resemble a college-style practice session with individual instruction, technical drills, and inter-squad competition.
