What services does the NCAA make available for those prospective student-athletes with disabilities?

The NCAA allows for those prospects that have a diagnosed learning disability take advantage of the following:
1. Use courses for students with disabilities that are designated on the high school's list of NCAA Approved Core Courses;
2. Use of courses taken after high-school graduation prior to initial full-time enrollment;
3. Use of a nonstandard ACT/SAT test;
4. File an initial-eligibility waiver.

In order to utilize the accommodations noted above, a prospect must register with the NCAA Disability Office and submit the following:
1. A signed professional diagnosis of disability (cannot be more than 3 years old)

2. Scores of diagnostic tests used to diagnose the disability

3. A copy of Individualized Education Plan (IEP), 504 Plan or statement of accommodations.
