The new Anteater Ballpark features brick facing, a symmetrical outfield fence (with dimensions of 335-380-405-380-355), chair back seating for 900 and a 2000 festival-seating capacity on the berm - dubbed "The Anthil." Along with a major-league quality playing field comprised of Bermuda Grass, are a press box, dugouts of 2000 sq. ft., stadium lights, bullpens, permanent enclosed batting cages, a concession pavilion and a hospitality tent.

Anteater Ballpark opened its gates on January 25, 2002. The capacity crowd of 3,083 watched as the Anteaters began their first season in 10 years against San Diego.
