UC Irvine Student-Athletes Tabbed Big West All-Academic

IRVINE, Calif. – A total of 20 UC Irvine student-athletes have earned 2009 Fall Academic All-Big West Conference honors.
In all, 117 student-athletes from nine member institutions were recognized from the fall sports of women’s volleyball, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's cross country.
To be eligible for the All-Academic team, student-athletes have to maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, have attained a sophomore standing academically and competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.

Men’s Cross Country: Sam Hyams
Women’s Cross Country: Chloe Fata, Michaela Fleming, Shelley Foerster, Katherine Nielsen, Stephanie Sconberg, Jessica Vaughan
Men’s Soccer: Corey Attaway, Brett Berman, Eric Shuffle, Spencer Thompson, Amani Walker
Women’s Soccer: Kate Berrini, Carly Crowder, Danielle de Seriere, Lexi Kopf, Stevie Mersola, Tanya Taylor
Women’s Volleyball: Riley Cropper, Taryn Robertson
