UC Irvine Student-Athletes Tabbed Big West All-Academic

Irvine, Calif. - 24 UC Irvine student-athletes have earned 2008 Fall Academic All-Big West Conference honors.
A total of 122 student-athletes from nine member institutions were recognized from the fall sports of women’s volleyball, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's cross country.
To be eligible for the All-Academic team, student-athletes have to maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, have attained a sophomore standing academically and competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.

Men’s Cross Country: Aman Bhatia, Colin Hacker, Nick Mosey, Camron Shahmirzadi, Greg Thompson, Rusty Whisman
Women’s Cross Country: Candice Chavez, Lauren Chramosta, Samantha Costantini, Megan Fairley, Katherine Nielsen, Shelby Pock, Stephanie Sconberg, Jessica Vaughan
Men’s Soccer: Corey Attaway, Brett Berman, Matt Murphy, Spencer Thompson, Amani Walker, Shane Westbrook
Women’s Soccer: Kathleen Lemieux, Tanya Taylor
Women’s Volleyball: Riley Cropper, Lauren Kellerman
