Shocktoberfest Student, Guest Tickets Sold Out; "Overflow" Tickets Available
IRVINE, Calif. --- All student and guest tickets for the 6th Annual Shocktoberfest event (Oct. 14) have sold out. A limited number of “overflow” tickets are available to undergraduate students.
Follow the ticketing instructions at http://www.asuci.uci.edu/shocktoberfest/tickets to register online for an overflow ticket. Tickets are not available in person or by phone at the Bren Events Center Box Office or the ASUCI Offices.
“Overflow" ticket holders will be accommodated after regular ticket holders on a first-come, first-served, space-available basis on the day of the event. Students with this ticket may begin lining up on the sidewalk at the corner of Mesa Road and West Peltason near the Anteater statue at 7:00 p.m.
This year’s Shocktoberfest celebration features New Boys, Hoodie Allen and The REJ3CTZ. Festivities begin at 5:30 pm with a Street Festival on Mesa Road featuring food, music, interactive booths, and special performances on the outdoor stage. The celebration moves inside for an hour-long “Midnight Magic” show, featuring the 2011-12 UC Irvine Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams.
The basketball portion of the event will be streamed live for free on both the Men’s and Women’s Basketball Facebook fan pages. Please see links below for access.
