IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine Athletic Director Mike Izzi has signed a contract extension through 2016.

Under his leadership, UCI Athletics has finished in the top five of the Learfield Sports Division I-AAA All-Sports Trophy competition each of the last four years.
