UC Irvine Athletics spirit is comprised of the Cheer Squad, Dance Team, Yell Crew, Peter the Anteater Mascot, Anteater Band, Eater Nation Student Spirit Group and the Baseball Diamond Darlings. All these spirit components are administered through the UC Irvine athletics department. UC Irvine Spirit's purpose is to support Anteater Athletics, enhancing game excitement and crowd involvement. UC Irvine Spirit is committed to promoting Anteater Athletics through creating a cooperative spirit between the teams, the student body and the athletics community.
