Charleston, SC -- The UC Irvine sailing team placed 14th at the Charleston Spring Coed Intersection hosted by the College of Charleston.
UCI finished 12th in the B Division with Rex Cameron (1-4,9-10), Dan Ryan (5-8), Monica Orphan (1-6), and Megan Pluth (7-10), while the Anteaters were 15th in the A Division (Jack Porter '(1-10), Blair Johnston (1-2,7-8) Frank O'Brien (3-6,9-10))
UCI head coach Mike Pinckney is a four-time All-American at College of Charleston and was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame in 2004.
