Newport Beach, Calif. -- The UC Irvine sailing team finished second at the PCCSC South Sloop Eliminations in Newport Harbor.

 

With the second place finish, the Anteaters advance to the Sloop PCCs, joining USC, who won the South Elims, and Chapman. The Sloop PCCs are hosted by UC Irvine Nov. 1-2 in Newport Harbor.

 

UC Irvine was skippered by Brian Hoover with crew Frank O'Brien and Jack Porter.
