IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine seniors Ashley Simpson and Danielle Richards have received honors from the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference.

Simpson, who is from Belmont, Calif., was named to the All-PCCSC women's skipper team for the third straight year.

Richards, from San Diego, was honored with the Mikey Murison Sportsmanship Award.

The UCI women's team finished third at the PCCSC Dinghy Championships and qualified for the Intercollegiate Sailing Association Nationals May 25-27 at the St. Francis Yacht Club.

The Anteaters' co-ed team qualified for the Team Racing Nationals, which will be held May 29-31 at Treasure Island. The last time the Anteaters qualified for team racing was 1995.
