NCAA Zone 'E' Diving Regionals Results

AUSTIN, Texas - UC Irvine had four divers compete at the NCAA Zone 'E' Diving Regionals Thursday and Friday at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center

On Thursday, Junior Melanie Grosvenor (Mission Viejo HS) finished 29th in the three-meter competition with a score of 219.50. Freshman Carissa Lewis (San Clemente HS) was 32nd with 205.60 points.

In the men's one-meter competition sophomore Miles Smith (Carmichael/Capital Christian HS) took 20th with 247.20 points. Sophomore Eric Nugent (Whittier/La Serna HS) was 27th with 198.50 points.

In action Friday, Carissa Lewis finished 31st in the one-meter with 198.20 points. Melanie Grosvenor was 34th with 195.05 points. Eric Nugent was 25th on the three-meter board with a score of 222.45. Miles Smith was 26th with a score of 207.85.

None of the four 'Eater divers advanced past prelims in the four events.
