COLUMBUS, Ohio - Sophomore Lyndsay DePaul and senior Chelsea Nagata represented UC Irvine Friday at the the NCAA Championships at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

Lyndsay DePaul took 13th in the 400 IM with a UCI record time of 4:11.52. This is the first time DePaul has finished in the top 16 of an event at the NCAA Championships.

Chelsea Nagata finished 17th in the 100 fly with a time of 53.32. Nagata then concluded her UCI career with a 23rd place finish in the 100 back with a time of 54.59.

The Anteaters are currently tied for 38th place with a total of four points.

Lyndsay DePaul will swim in the 200 fly Saturday in UCI's last event of the meet. Prelims begin at 9:00 PDT with finals starting at 5:00 p.m. PDT at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
