ANTEATERS AT BIG WEST CHAMPIONSHIPS FEBRUARY 20-23: The UC Irvine men's and women's swimming & diving teams will be off from competition the next two weeks as they prepare for the Big West Championships February 20^th-23^rd at Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool in Long Beach.

WEEK IN REVIEW: The Anteater men beat Cal State Northridge (146-85) and UC Davis (158-142) to conclude the regular season with an 8-5 record in dual meets. Senior Eddie Erazo (San Diego/Mt. Carmel HS) won four events over the two days.

The Anteater women defeated CSUN (167-64) and UCD (184-116) to finish the dual meet season with an 11-3 record.  Senior Chelsea Nagata (Kahului, Hawaii/Maui HS) and sophomore Lyndsay DePaul (Villa Park HS) each won five events over the weekend.

ON THE ROAD TO THE NCAA'S: The Anteaters have already started their return to the NCAA's

Lyndsay DePaul has already qualified for the NCAA's thanks to NCAA "A" cuts in the 200 fly (1:56.90) and in the 200 IM (2:00.36). DePaul has "B" cut times in the 500 free (4:50.13), the 1650 free (16:45.28) and the 400 IM (4:16.50). Chelsea Nagata has "B" cut times in the 50 free (23.03), 100 back (55.72) and the 100 fly (54.29).

Senior Eddie Erazo has an `A' cut time of 1:44.54 in the 200 fly.
