Lyndsay DePaul Finishes Ninth Overall In 400 IM At U.S. Olympic Trials

Omaha, NE -- UC Irvine junior Lyndsay DePaul finished ninth overall in the heats of the 400 Individual Medley at the U.S. Olympic Trials Sunday, missing the finals by one spot.

DePaul swam 4:43.71 in the morning heat to finish ninth out of 82 competitors with the top eight making it to the evening final. Katie Hoff won the final in a world record time of 4:31.12.

In other action, Chelsea Nagata was 74th in the 100 butterfly (1.01.82) and Chris Rosales was 65th in the men's 100 breastroke (1.05.18).
