Lyndsay DePaul Finishes 7th in 200 Butterfly Final at U.S. Olympic TrialsJuly 3, 2008 OMAHA, Neb. --- Lyndsay DePaul, who will be a junior at UC Irvine in the fall, finished seventh in the 200-meter butterfly final with a time of 2:11.20 at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb., Thursday night. Competing for the AquaZot Swim Club, she placed fourth in her semifinal heat with a time of 2:10.42 Wednesday at the Qwest Center. Senior Randall Tom was seeded 13th in the 100 fly heading into the semifinals after a time of 53.16 in prelims. Tom finished 15th in the semis with a time of 53.87. |
