Was a redshirt last season....earned All-Big West honors in cross country in the fall of 2004 after finishing fifth at the conference championships with a time of 24:22.4 over 8,000 meters....was 36th at the NCAA West Regional that season with a time of 3:25 over 10,000 meters....placed third in the 1,500 meters with a time of 3:47.15 at the 2005 Big West Track & Field Championships....finished ninth in the 1,500 meters at the '05 NCAA Track & Field West Regional....ranks sixth all-time at UCI in the 1500 (3:46.87) was UCI's top runner in the 2003 cross country season with a 13th-place finish at the Big West Championships....finished sixth (3:51.37) in the 1,500 meters at the 2004 Big West Track & Field Championships....had top prep times of 1:55.1 in the 800 and 4:25 in the 1,600 meters at Garces Memorial High in Bakersfield....also competed in soccer in high school....majoring in civil engineering....2004 Big West Scholar-Athlete.
