2009: Placed seventh in the high jump in the NCAA West Regional as he cleared 6-8 ¾...placed sixth at the Big West Championships in the high jump at 6-8 ¼....placed third in the high jump at 6-8 ¾ at the Asics/Steve Scott Invitational...won the high jump clearing 7' 1/2" to tie his No. 2 mark in UCI history at the Mt. Sac Relays. He won the high jump at 6-10 ¾ at the Big West Challenge Cup...won the high jump with a mark of 7-0 ½ in the Cal/Nevada Championships at UCLA, the mark ties him for No. 2 in UCI history ...tied for second in the high jump with an NCAA regional-qualifying mark of 6-10 ¾ at the UCI Spring Break Invitational...finished first in the high jump with a mark of 6-8 ¾ at the All-UC Meet.
High School: At Westmoor High School he played basketball and ran track...All-PAL League in high jump, triple jump, and long jump from 2002-2004...All-American in 2004...fifth at CIF State in triple jump...three-time MVP from 2001-2004...won CCS in high jump and was second in triple jump in 2004...PAL League title in track...Presidential Award...Goodrich Scholarship...Honor Roll...Athlete of the Year in 2004.
Personal: Economics major...received the University's Academic Achievement Award in 2009 as well as being named a UCI Scholar Athlete.
