Placed 37th at last season's UCSD Triton Classic with a time of 24:20.8 over 6,000 meters....finished 79th at the UCI Cross Country Invitational a year ago....was ninth in the 1,500 meters (4:59.12) in track at the Big West Challenge Cup last April....competed at the 2005 Big West Track & Field Championships, recording a time of 2:17.88 in the prelims of the 800 meters....was a four-time All-Grossmont League runner at West Hills High School....earned All-CIF honors three times and set the school record in the 1,600 meters....was a two-time state finalist in cross country....majoring in psychology and social behavior....was a Big West Scholar-Athlete last year.
