Placed 32nd (25:30.0) over 8,000 meters at the 2005 Big West Conference Cross Country Championships....finished 91st at last year's NCAA West Regional with a time of 32:53.1 over 10,000 meters....was 20th at the Cal Poly Invitational and 24th at the UCI Invitational....placed 10th (3:58.39) in the 1,500 meters at the 2006 Big West Track & Field Championships....was seventh in his section (3:58.06) of the 1500 at last spring's Steve Scott Invitational....finished 10th in the 1500 at the 2005 Big West Track & Field Championships....was a two-time All-State and All-CIF runner at Desert Christian High School....earned All-Desert Mountain League honors three times and was league MVP....majoring in comparative literature/European studies....is a two-time Big West Scholar-Athlete....named to the Big West Academic All-Conference team for fall sports in 2005.
