At the NCAA Track & Field Championships she competed in the shot put prelims she had a best mark of 48-6 and did not advance to the final...placed fifth in the shot put at the regional with a mark of 50-10 ¼ to qualify for the NCAA Championships...placed second in the shot put with a mark of 51-6 ¼ at the Big West Championships...won the shot put with a mark of 46-10 ¼ at the Asics/Steve Scott Invitational. Also finished 9^th in the javelin throw with a mark of 119-3 ...received a fifth place finish in the shot put with a mark of 50-6 ¾ at the UCSD Triton Invitational....accomplished a first place finish with a mark of 50-8 ¾ at the Big West Challenge Cup. She also placed fourth in the discus throw at 140-0...acquired a third place finish in the shot put with a mark of 51-8 ½ at the Texas Relays...won the shot put with a school-record mark of 51-9 ¾ in the Cal/Nevada Championships....finished first in the shot put with a mark of 49-11 ¼ and she was third in the discus at 147-1 at the UCI Spring Break Invitational... at the All UC she finished first in the shot put with a recorded throw of 49-4 ¼.

2008:

Indoor- Named Big West Field Athlete of the Week, April 9, 2008...placed third in shot put at Husky Classic (48-2 ¾)... finished fourth in Shot Put at Husker Invitational (50-4 ¾)

Outdoor- Earned All-West Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association... placed seventh in Shot Put (50-7 ¼) at NCAA West Regional...won shot put (49-11 ¼) at Big West Championships and second in discus with a third best mark in UCI history of 154-5...finished third in the shot put (50-8 ¼) at Mt. SAC Relays, breaking her school record of 50-7 ¼... won the shot put (50-1 ¾) at Big West Challenge Cup... finished second in shot put(50-7 ¼) at Stanford Invitational... finished third in shot put (48-6 ¼), fourth in Discus (149-2 ½), and fifth in hammer throw (143-11 ½) at the Cal Poly Invitational...won the shot put (50-6) at the Colligate Classic breaking her own record...won the shot put (49-11) at the All UC Meet.
