2009: Competed at the NCAA Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark...At the NCAA prelims she had a best mark of 48-6, but did not advance to the final...Placed fifth in the shot put at the regional with a mark of 50-10 ¼ to qualify for the NCAA Championships...Placed second in the shot put with a mark of 51-6 ¼ at the Big West Championships...Won the shot put with a mark of 46-10 ¼ at the Asics/Steve Scott Invitational. Also finished ninth in the javelin throw with a mark of 119-3 at that event...Finished fifth in the shot put with a mark of 50-6 ¾ at the UCSD Triton Invitational...Finished first with a mark of 50-8 ¾ at the Big West Challenge Cup.
