UCI:

2009: Placed eighth, respectively, in the 5,000 meters at the Big West Championships with a time of 17:22.73...finished second in the 3,000 meters (9:59.61) at the Big West Challenge Cup...ran a time of 17:07.39 in the 5,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational...placed seventh in 16:54.32 at the Ben Brown Invitational.

2005: Was named the Big West Conference Freshman of the Year in 2005 after finishing second (21:00.3) at the league meet won by UCI....placed forty second at the NCAA West Regional last year....was third at the UCI and Cal Poly Invitational last year....placed fifth in the 3,000 meters at the Big West Challenge Cup in track last spring....

2004: Was a redshirt in cross country at UCI.

High School: Won the Del Rio League cross country title at Whittier High in 2003....earned All-CIF honors.

Personal: Majoring in social ecology...was named a UCI Scholar Athlete in 2009.
