Lauren Collins Finishes 13th in Pentathlon at NCAA Indoor Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. --- UC Irvine junior Lauren Collins finished 13th in the pentathlon Saturday at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. Collins had a total of 3,882 points over the five events. Her marks were 8.95 in the 60-meter hurdles, 5-8 ¾ in the high jump, 33-4 ¾ in the shot put, 17-7 ½ in the long jump and 2:18.64 in the 800 meters. Jacquelyn Johnson of Arizona State placed first with 4,496 points, Bettie Wade of Michigan was second with 4,366 and Arizona's Shevell Quinley was third with 4,256.
