Trio of 3rd-Place Finishes for UCI at Northridge Relays

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. --- Seniors Dayne Comrie and Trent Richert, and sophomore Tim Murphy led UC Irvine with third-place finishes Saturday at the Northridge Relays. Comrie finished third in the 200 meters with a time of 21.60 while Richert had a mark of 22-0 ¾ in the long jump. Murphy posted a time of 1:53.59 in the 800 meters. Senior Eric Nyberg placed fifth in the javelin throw at 182-7 while junior Angeliza Fontillas finished seventh in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.40.
