WALNUT, Calif. --- UC Irvine senior Dayne Comrie won the collegiate 400 meters Sunday with a time of 46.59 at the 50th Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut.

His time ranks third all-time at UCI. Junior Oliver Plattner finished third in Sunday's race with a time of 48.15.

Sophomore Alisha Misiaita broke her own school record in the shot put for the fourth time this season with a mark of 50-8 ¼ to finish third in the event. Stanford's Melissa Yunghans won the event with a mark of 53-3 ¾ while Arizona's Nicole Lloyd finished second at 51-9 ¾. Misiaita's previous school record was 50-7 ¼ that she recorded at Stanford April 5.

UCI sophomore Napoleon Greene finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 52.62.

Saturday, in the Beach Invitational at Cerritos College, freshman Madeline Leduc placed sixth in the triple jump at 38-8 ¼ as she improved on her No. 5 mark in Anteater history.

Sophomore Amber Sangster finished 12th in the discus throw with a mark of 148-6, sixth-best in UCI history.

In men's action at the Beach Invitational, junior Justin Carter finished second in the triple jump at 47-10 and junior Nick Mosey was second in the 5,000 meters (15:00.20).

UCI's 4x100-meter relay of George Hernandez, Oliver Plattner, Joe Pearson and Dayne Comrie finished second with a time of 41.67.
