Friday's Results from Triton Invitational

LA JOLLA, Calif. --- UC Irvine sophomore Amber Sangster recorded the No. 5 mark in school history in the discus throw at the first day of the Triton Invitational Friday. Sangster had a throw of 149-6 to finish 30th in the 51-competitor field. Sophomore Alisha Misiaita was 32nd at 148-7. In the hammer throw, Misiaita placed 26th with a mark of 147-3, Sangster was 36th (133-4), Faith Chirbas 39th (125-8) and Vanessa Vaughan 45th (101-1).
