Lauren Collins Earns Berth in NCAA High Jump Final

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. --- UC Irvine junior Lauren Collins earned a spot in Friday's final of the high jump at the NCAA Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark.

Collins was one of 15 jumpers who cleared 5-9 ¾ in Wednesday's preliminaries at McDonnell Field on the University of Arkansas campus.

In the shot put prelims Wednesday, UCI junior Alisha Misiaita had a best mark of 48-6 and did not advance to Thursday's final.
