Lauren Collins Finishes 9th in High Jump at NCAA Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. --- UC Irvine junior Lauren Collins finished ninth in the high jump finals Friday at the NCAA Track & Field Championships at McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Ark.
Collins, the 2009 Big West Conference champion, cleared 5-10 ¾ to place ninth of the 15 jumpers who advanced out of Wednesday's preliminaries.
Destinee Hooker of Texas won the high jump with a mark of 6-4 ¾.
