UCI WITH 5 COMPETITORS AT REGIONAL: Five UCI track and field athletes will compete in the NCAA West Regional May 30-31 at Cal State Northridge.
Representing the Anteaters are Dayne Comrie in the 400 meters, Sky Johnston in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Matt Lahti in the hammer throw, Lauren Chramosta in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and Alisha Misiaita in the shot put.

At the Big West Conference Track & Field Championships in Northridge this past weekend, Comrie won the 400 meters in 46.28 seconds as he improved on his No. 3 time in UCI history.
He finished third in the 200 meters in an NCAA regional-qualifying time of 21.17 seconds, eighth-fastest in the Anteater record book. Comrie also ran legs on UCI's second-place 4x400-meter relay and third-place 4x100 relay.
In women's competition, Misiaita won the shot put with a mark of 49 feet, 11 ¼ inches and she was second in the discus throw at 154 feet, 5 inches for the third-best mark in Anteater history.
The UCI women's team placed eighth in the league meet.
