Finished 50th at the 2006 Big West Conference Cross Country Championships with a time of 30:05.0 over 8,000 meters....was 54th at the UCSD Triton Classic and placed 70th at the UCI Invitational....had a top time in the 2006 track season of 15:41.45 in the 5,000 meters at the Ben Brown Invitational....placed 11th in the 5,000 meters at the '06 Steve Scott Invitational.... finished 102nd at the 2005 UCI Cross Country Invitational ....was first team All-CIF and third team All-Region as a senior for coach Willis McCarthy....earned All-West Catholic Athletic League, all-county and all-section honors at Junipero Serra High....finished seventh at the Stanford Invitational....also competed in wrestling....majoring in biological sciences....parents are Sarneh and Abeer Barghouti.
