Cross Country:
She placed fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the 2008 Big West Conference Track & Field Championships with a time of 10:51.93, which ranks third all-time at UCI...finished 44th at the 2007 Big West Conference Cross Country Championships with a time of 24:01.8 over 6,000 meters...was 20th (18:54.60) over 5,000 meters at the '07 Anteater Cross Country Invitational...in the 2007 track and field season, she finished third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Big West Championships with a time of 11:03.80, which ranks second all-time at UCI....also placed third in the steeplechase at the Big West Challenge Cup and Collegiate Classic...finished 32nd (19:12.0) at the 2006 Cal State Fullerton Cross Country Titan Invitational....was 37th (24:38.8) at 2006 UCSD Triton Cross Country Classic.....finished 28th at the Cal Poly Cross Country Invitational in fall of 2005 with a time of 19:09.0 over 5,000 meters as UCI captured the team title....was 59th in a field of 179 runners at the 2005 UCI Invitational....finished 50th in the 2005 Big West Conference Cross Country Championships with a time of 23:41.6 over 6,000 meters as UCI won the team title....finished seventh in the steeplechase at the 2006 Big West Track & Field Championships with a time of 11:21.75....earned All-CIF and all-county honors at Rim of the World High School for coach Glen Mitchell....also competed in soccer....majoring in psychology and social behavior....has earned Big West Scholar-Athlete honors the past two years....her brother, Travis, is a former runner at UCI....parents are Laurie and Chet Bruton. |
