Cross Country:
She placed seventh in the 1500 meters (4:40.51) at the 2008 Big West Conference Track & Field Championships...was 11th (22:26.9) over 6,000 meters at the 2007 Big West Cross Country Championships...finished 42nd at the Chile Pepper Festival, 28th at the Stanford Invitational and sixth at the '07 Anteater Invitational...finished ninth in the 1500 meters (4:44.34) at the 2007 Big West Conference Track & Field Championships....had a season-best 1500 time of 4:37.00 to finish second at the Steve Scott Invitational....finished 14th at the 2006 UCSD Triton Cross County Classic with a time of 23:32.5 over 6,000 meters....placed 23rd at the 2006 UCI Cross Country Invitational with a time of 19:07.6 over 5,000 meters....was 33rd at the '06 Big West Championships with a time of 24:18.8 over 6,000 meters....placed 60th at the Stanford Invitational and was 114th at the NCAA West Regional....finished eighth in the 800 meters at the 2006 Big West Track & Field Championships....had her best time of the season in the prelims at 2:14.02 that ranked second on the UCI team that spring....had the squad's third-best time in the 1,500 meters at 4:40.36 that she ran at Stanford in March 2006....finished 30th at 2005 Big West Conference Cross Country Championships with a time of 22:42.6 over 6,000 meters as UCI claimed the team title....placed 30th of 118 runners at the Cal Poly Invitational that UCI won....was 44th at '05 UCI Invitational.... earned all-state, All-CIF, All-Orange County and All-Serra League honors in cross country and track for coach (and former UCI runner) Rick Martinez at Mater Dei High School....majoring in biology (pre-med)....has been a Big West Scholar-Athlete the last three years and has been named to the Big West Academic All-Conference team in track the past two years....parents are Mylee and Sam Costantini. |
