Was eighth (4:00.01) in the 1500 meters at the 2008 Big West Conference Track & Field Championships...finished fourth (3:55.52) in the 1500 meters at the '08 Big West Challenge Cup...also was fourth (3:56.83) in his section of the 1500 at the Steve Scott Invitational...placed 36th (27:04.0) at the 2007 Big West Cross Country Championships...competed in cross country, track and soccer at Irvine High...majoring in biological sciences...earned Big West Scholar-Athlete honors in 2006-07...parents are Hermilo and Maria Lopez. |
