Finished eighth in the 5,000 meters (17:43.73) at the 2007 Big West Conference Track & Field Championships....was third in the 3,000 meters at the '07 Big West Challenge Cup and Collegiate Classic....earned all-conference honors with a third-place finish of 21:30.9 over 6,000 meters at the 2006 Big West Cross Country Championships....finished fifth at the Stanford Invitational and was named Big West Athlete of the Week....placed 17th at the '06 NCAA West Regional and was named to the All-West Region team....transferred to UCI in 2006 from Loyola Marymount, where she ran with her twin sister Laura....finished 13th in the 5,000 meters (17:51.09) in the 5,000 meters at the 2006 NCAA Western Regional in track and field....placed ninth at the 2005 West Coast Conference Cross Country Championships with a time of 18:34 to earn first team All-WCC honors....finished 49th at last year's NCAA West Regional in cross country....was named to the WCC All-Academic team....had the highest GPA for female student-athletes at LMU last year....prepped at Mira Costa High....majoring in psychology and social behavior....was a Big West Scholar-Athlete in 2006-07....parents are Julia Quinones and Scott Mickelson.
