He was second in the 800 meters (1:51.89) at the 2008 Big West Conference Track & Field Championships...also ran a leg on the second-place 4x400 relay (3:11.37)...won the 800 meters (1:52.78 at the '08 Big West Challenge Cup...placed fourth in the 800 meters (1:52.15) at the Steve Scott Invitational...set school records at Healdsburg High School in the 800 meters and on the 4x400 relay...also competed in football and basketball...majoring in philosophy.
