She placed 23rd at the 2007 Big West Conference Cross Country Championships with a time of 22:59.3 over 6,000 meters...finished 22nd at the '07 Anteater Invitational and 14th at the UC San Diego Triton Classic...joined the Anteater program from Irvine High School....earned 2006 All-Pacific Coast League first-team honors in cross country after three consecutive similar honors in the Sea View League....four-time All-Orange County first-team cross country runner for coach Randi Rossi....earned All-CIF honors three years in cross country and twice in track....a triplet with sisters Jennifer and Christina....older sister, Tanya, competed on the UCI swimming team....majoring in public health science...was a Big West Scholar-Athlete as a freshman....parents are Jack and Linda Nielsen.
