She was a 2008 Big West Conference track qualifier in the 1500 (4:39.34) and 5,000 meters (17:11.45)...former conference cross country champion at Orange Coast College (2005) when she was named Athlete of the Year...her OCC teams won back-to-back state championships in 2004 and 2005...she was Garden Grove League champion in cross country at Bolsa Grande High School in 2003 for coach Mark VanGrootheest....also won league titles in track in the 800 and 1600 meters...also played prep soccer...majoring in public health science/biology...parents are Javier and Irma Santana.
