Was a redshirt with the UCI distance program last season....finished 17th at the 2004 Big West Cross Country Championships with a time of 24:58.1 over 8,000 meters....placed 45th at the '04 NCAA West Regional....finished ninth at the UCI Invitational that fall....was third in the 800 meters (1:52.24) and seventh in the 1,500 meters (3:50.92) at the 2005 Big West Track & Field Championships....advanced to the NCAA West Regional that spring....placed 17th at the 2003 Big West Cross Country Championships...was 60th at the '03 NCAA West Regional....finished third in the 1,500 meters at the 2004 Big West Track & Field Championships and qualified for the NCAA West Regional....was UCI's top runner at the 2002 Big West Cross Country Championships with a 20th-place finish....finished at the NCAA West Regional that fall....ranks seventh all-time at UCI in the 1,500 meters with a time of 3:46.94....was a four-time All-Citrus Belt League runner in track and three times in cross country at Redlands East Valley High School....was league cross country champion in 2001....won three league titles in track....second team All-CIF in 2001....was sixth in the 1,600 meters at the 2002 California state track meet....majoring in mechanical engineering.
