IRVINE, Calif. --- The UC Irvine men's and women's cross country squads have been selected to receive All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

To be considered for the award, each team must have competed and compiled a team score at the NCAA Regional Meet and must have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative grade-point average.

The UCI women's team finished 14th at the NCAA West Regional this past fall and the men's squad placed 20th.
