UCI Women's Cross Country Team Receives National Academic Recognition

IRVINE, Calif. --- The UC Irvine women's cross country squad has received All-Academic Team recognition by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2009 season.

For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, the school must have competed and compiled a team score at the 2009 NCAA Regional Meet. The team must also have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative grade-point average.

UCI finished 21st at the NCAA West Regional last November. There were no seniors on last season's roster.
