TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - UC Irvine sophomore Laura Olvera (Whittier HS) finished 83rd out of 253 runners in the NCAA Championships Monday in Terre Haute.

Olvera finished in a time of 21:57.4 on the 6K LaVern Gibson Championship Course at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center. 

Her finish is the highest finish for an Anteater since the 1999 season when Christy Villa earned All-American honors with a 29th place finish at the NCAA Championships.
