UC Irvine Competes at NCAA West Regional Saturday

Coach Vince O'Boyle's UC Irvine men's and women's cross country teams compete in the NCAA West Regional Saturday (Nov. 14) at the Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Ore.

The men's 10,000-meter race is scheduled to start at 9:45 a.m. with the women's 6,000 meters at 10:45 a.m.

The UCI lineups are scheduled to be:

Barrett Tilley, Jr.
Austin Williams, Fr.

WOMEN
Chloe Fata, Fr.
Shelley Foerster, Fr.
Melissa Mead, Fr.
Nicole Mendoza, Fr.
Katherine Nielsen, So.
Carlotta Pham, Fr.
Shelby Pock, Jr.

Bonilla, Hyams and Nelson are the only three UCI runners who competed at last year's regional.

The women's team placed 14th and the men's squad 19th a year ago.
