Northwood High School: Played second base and shortstop...batted .340 with 17 hits and 20 runs scored...drove in 10 runs...missed last seven games due to illness...earned all-city and All-Sea View League titles in 2006...Pacific Coast League batting champion as a junior with a .471 clip...named the Offensive Most Valuable Player in 2005 and 2006...team MVP in 2004... helped the team to a league championship as a junior...member of the Colton Nighthawks in 2006...team won the Connie Mack League title...also part of the USA Baseball Federation World Series championship squad...also lettered in football...named the team's Defensive MVP.
