Horizon High School: Key player for the Horizon team that reached the CIF division IV semi-finals...led San Diego County's prep players with 17 home runs and 69 RBI...that RBI total is a CIF record...his .511 batting average was second among San Diego players...four-time All-Coastal League and All-CIF honoree...Division IV and league Player of the Year as a senior...was named all-state in 2003...also played football and basketball...earned all-state and All-CIF honors in 2001 as a football player.
